I think that the future will keep moving forward with new technological advances which help benefit the new generations. The Internet enhances social relations, political parties, education and much more.
I believe that The Kindle, which is a new device used to read papers/ magazines/ books will also be required in schools for the use of school text books. This would not be good for the print industry.
Also the new generation will possibly even have online classes- instead of meeting in person. Kids will spend more time online than in front of a television or instead of reading a book.
Authors will be creating more interactive graphic novels which they sell online. New ways of marketing with have go into effect to promote their books.
Kids will spend more time at Cartoon Network and Radio Disney sites.
Just like the Obama election bloggers were very involved online with connecting to the campaign. The Internet is an out lite for people to express their political views.
The Internet will continue to develop

The day the music dies?
Do I think the music industry will die down?
No, I do not. I think that musicians will have to find more ways to market themselves. And they will have to have new products besides t shirts and cds to sell, to make a profit. Allot of musicians make more money off t shirts than they do by each individual record.
It does sound better when you purchase a cd then download music- and hopefully more people will recognize this.
Musicians will have to be talented in many ways besides being a guitarist/ vocalist. They will have to know how to market and design there web sites to cater to the fans who favor them.
The music industry will not die. It will go through changes though.
