My impressions were mixed feelings of the land of LamdoMOO. I thought that it was a cool experience to learn about and actually go to.
I do not think that I would go back there on my own free time. I would rather blog instead.
I did talk to people in LambdoMOO who were not my classmates- this made it interesting. We talked about coffee and concerts. I choose to discuss theses two topics- because they are topics which everyone could relate to.
Majority of people in LambdoMO (who I talked to) do not like country concerts and LOVE Starbucks, over Caribou coffee any day.
It was interesting!

Very E-xiting
It was very E-xiting to have a successful online ethnography homepage! I learned allot and am proud of my accomplishments.
While blogging on Wordpress and Graphic Design Community I learned how different people connect with each other through the internet.
I enjoyed researching both communities. It was interesting to see the different interactions between people within the community.
I learned that there are many types of communities like online communities, networking web sites, neighborhood communities, sports communities and friend communities.
Its a huge feeling of accomplishment creating your homepage for this project.
Between Wordpress and Graphic Design Community, if I were to continue connecting in one community I would continue blogging in the Graphic Design Community.
The people in this community I can relate to more than Wordpress.
It was VERY E- xting studying online communities!

YOU BETCHIA
During class today the discussion on politics and how media has impacted the presidential campaign for our President Obama.I found this very the conversation very interesting and very realistic.
I was not too into politics before the campaign and media definitely impacted my interest in staying involved in today's politics.
It grew to be tuns of fun to watch Saturday Night Live on a weekly basis and see Sarah Palin get acted out by Tina Fey. It was quite amusing to see Sarah Palin get made fun of. This also, did really impacted allot of people opinions on Sarah Palin (like mine). This made Sarah loose allot of votes.....
And I guess all what Sarah Palin would say is "You Betchia!"
I am happy Obama won!

megs web page success
Tonight I have been working on my web page for my online ethnography for graphic design communities. I have created a really neat interface design, which I am proud of.
From being in a web design class today I learned how to create hyper links in Dreamweaver. I did attempt to use this technique for my home page for media class.
And I am so happy that the 3 links I created so far in Dreamweaver worked. Its cool how about classes are going together so I can use my new Dreamweaver skills.
The online ethnography is going well. I have found many interesting things on researching online communities.
I am apart of two online graphic design communities. I find myself favoring one over the other though.

Blog choices
I was researching different blogs which I wanted to join which have an interest to me. I came up with a list of different blogs which I could research for the ethnography paper, which are:
A.) flickr (photography site)
B.) deviantart (illustrations, photography and graphic arts)
C.) abstract city blog/ nytimes (interesting illustrator artists)
D.) wordpress.com (photography, graphic arts, illustrations and more)
E.) illustrationfriday.com/blog (illustrator artists)
I enjoyed researching several different blogs which I could join. Out of all five blogs, I narrowed it down to two(which was a very hard decision.)
The one blog which I did join tonight was wordpress.com. I joined the blog because I thought it had the most to offer. Also, I feel that I could interact with allot of what the people in the community were blogging about; illustrations, art, photography, design and much more.
